Building a marketing partnership

When Lobb Fields first approached us, they were looking for support with advertising and marketing activity.

We began by designing and managing advertising campaigns across both traditional and digital channels, alongside creating regular social media content, paid campaigns and email marketing communications. As the relationship grew, we were also asked to take over the production of detailed marketing reports, helping the management team gain clearer visibility into website performance, digital campaigns and booking trends.

This early work gave us a valuable understanding of the business, its audience and its ambitions for the future.

Getting to know the audience

Before embarking on a rebrand, we wanted to understand what existing guests genuinely valued about the park.

Using hundreds of reviews from multiple platforms, we conducted a detailed sentiment analysis to identify recurring themes, language, and customer perceptions. The findings were remarkably consistent. Guests regularly praised the park's cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, peaceful setting and proximity to North Devon's beaches. Many reviewers highlighted the welcoming team and commented on returning year after year.

These insights helped shape both the new brand direction and the content strategy for the website, ensuring that future marketing reflected the qualities guests valued most.

Evolving the brand

Lobb Fields had built an excellent reputation over many years, so the challenge wasn't to reinvent the business, but to modernise its visual identity while preserving the familiarity that loyal customers trusted.

The new logo and branding were designed to feel brighter, friendlier and more contemporary, helping the park appeal to younger families and new visitors without alienating returning guests.

The updated identity provided a more flexible foundation for digital marketing, signage, print materials and future growth.

A website built for growth

As our understanding of the business grew, it became clear that the client's existing website was limiting what the team could achieve from a marketing perspective. The absence of a modern CMS meant even simple content updates often required developer support. Creating new landing pages and responding to marketing opportunities quickly was becoming increasingly difficult.

Working closely with the Lobb Fields team, we designed and developed a bespoke Drupal website that not only reflected the park's refreshed identity, but also provided a far more effective marketing platform. Supported by a full content audit and rewrite, the new website gives the team the flexibility to publish new content quickly, support seasonal campaigns and continually improve visibility through ongoing SEO and content marketing activity.

Built around the park's existing booking system, with future integrations in mind, the platform provides a solid foundation for the next stage of the business's growth.

An evolving partnership

Lobb Fields is a great example of the type of long-term relationship we value most. What began as support with advertising and marketing has grown into an ongoing partnership covering branding, website development, content strategy, SEO, digital marketing, reporting and print.

By taking the time to understand both the business and its customers, we've been able to help evolve the brand in a way that feels authentic to existing guests while positioning it for future growth.

With the new website now live and fresh photography and video content on the way, we're looking forward to continuing that journey and helping the team build on an already strong reputation.
